hereinafter referred to as MB Custom Rods, the following provisions apply:
All product names are property of their respective manufacturers or MB Custom Rods. Some product images are exemplary and may differ from the ordered or delivered products.
Color variations from the images are possible.
All offers from MB Custom Rods are subject to change without notice. Customers can place orders by mail, verbally, or via informal email. In the latter case, the email order is valid even without a signature.
1. Orders
Orders from the online shop can be placed online, by email, or by phone. Order confirmations will be sent via email or phone. Deviations in color, material, and shape, while maintaining the overall appearance, are not considered manufacturing defects and can occur. When ordering handcrafted rods or components, slight deviations in color and shape from the illustration may also occur, while maintaining the overall appearance.
2. Delivery times
We will deliver your items as quickly as possible. Delivery times are usually 2-5 working days after receipt of your order. If an item is not in stock or if delivery is delayed, we will inform you by email or telephone. Deliveries from MB Custom Rods are always subject to MB Custom Rods being fully and punctually supplied and is not responsible for any unavailability of the item. MB Custom Rods reserves the right to split deliveries into partial shipments if individual items are missing. Claims for damages are excluded unless there is gross negligence or intent on the part of MB Custom Rods. If a specific item or replacement item is not available, MB Custom Rods is entitled to refuse delivery. MB Custom Rods will notify the buyer of the unavailability immediately.
3. Shipping / Payments
Shipping is usually via DHL as an insured package. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight. MB Custom Rods retains title to the purchased goods until the customer has paid the purchase price for the goods and all other items from the same order in full. MB Custom Rods generally only ships after the customer has paid in advance. Payment must be made in EURO (€). All prices are final prices including VAT applicable at the time of purchase. Payment can be made by bank transfer, direct debit, PayPal, or cash on delivery.
4. Guarantee / Withdrawal
The warranty is governed by statutory provisions, unless otherwise provided below. If a defect occurs in the purchased item within the warranty period, the customer may initially only request repair. If a second attempt at repair fails or if repair is no longer reasonable for the customer, the customer may, at his or her discretion, demand cancellation of the purchase contract or a reduction in the purchase price.
The customer has the right to return the delivered goods to us within 14 days of receipt without stating any reasons. The cancellation must be communicated to us verbally or in writing. The purchase contract will then expire, and we will refund the full purchase price. For used items or items that are not properly packaged, or without the original packaging, we reserve the right to charge an advance payment. Timely dispatch of the goods is sufficient to meet the cancellation period. Fly lines can only be exchanged if the seal is intact, except in the case of material or manufacturing defects.
4.1 Returns
We reserve the right to refuse a voluntary refund of postage costs.
You will have to bear the regular costs of return if the delivered goods correspond to those ordered but you do not like them.
“The consumer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods if the trader has informed the consumer of this obligation in accordance with Article 246a, Section 1, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, Number 2 of the Introductory Act to the Civil Code. ”
For returns/partial returns where the invoice amount falls below the free postage limit, we will invoice the resulting postage costs.
5. Data storage / data protection
According to Section 28 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the data required for business transactions will be processed and stored using an IT system in accordance with Section 33 of the BDSG. All personal data collected from customers will, of course, be treated confidentially. The necessary data will only be used with third parties for order processing (payment, shipping). You can obtain information about the data stored about you free of charge at any time. To do so, send an email to info@mb-customrods.de. For data protection reasons, replies to emails can only be sent to the email address provided to us.
6. Instructions for returning packaging
In accordance with the provisions of the Packaging Ordinance, we are obliged to take back packaging for our products that does not bear the symbol of a nationwide disposal system (such as the “Green Dot” of Duales System Deutschland AG or the “RESY” symbol) and to ensure that it is reused or disposed of.

We will then provide you with the name of a municipal collection point or waste disposal company in your area that will accept the packaging free of charge. If this isn't possible, you can send the packaging to us free of charge.

We reuse the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with the provisions of the Packaging Ordinance.
7. Shipping costs
Unless otherwise stated, a flat shipping fee for standard shipments in Germany up to 150€ applies when paying by direct debit, prepayment or Paypal = 5.90€
Minimum order value: 10.00 €
For deliveries outside of Germany we charge the actual postage costs.
For orders over €149, we ship postage-free within Germany when paying in advance or by PayPal. (Excluding promotions)
Environmental protection is important to us, which is why MB Custom Rods no longer sends paper invoices.
All invoices will be sent via email to the address provided. If you would like a printed invoice, please let us know when placing your order.
