Access data and hosting

You can visit my website without providing any personal information. Each time you access the website, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the access.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the site and improving our offering. Data collection and use for contract processing

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to me as part of your order or when you contact me (e.g. via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because in these cases I absolutely need the data to process the contract or to process your contact and without it you cannot complete the order or send the contact. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR to process the contract and process your inquiries. Once the contract has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the retention periods under tax and commercial law have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or I reserve the right to use the data in any other way that is permitted by law and about which I will inform you in this declaration.

Comments and contributions

When users leave comments or other contributions, their IP addresses are stored for 7 days based on our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This is done for our security in case someone leaves illegal content in comments or contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, we ourselves may be held liable for the comment or contribution and are therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Online presence in social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform you about our services.

We would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This could pose risks for users, for example, because it could make it more difficult to enforce their rights. With regard to US providers certified under the Privacy Shield, we would like to point out that they are thereby obligated to comply with EU data protection standards.

Furthermore, user data is generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created based on user behavior and the resulting interests. These user profiles can then be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the users' interests. For these purposes, cookies are generally stored on users' computers in which the user behavior and interests are saved. Furthermore, user profiles can also store data independent of the devices used by users (particularly if users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

The processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interest in providing effective information and communication with users in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If users are asked by the respective providers for consent to data processing (i.e., they declare their consent, for example, by checking a box or confirming a button), the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 7 GDPR.

Integration of third-party services and content

Within our online offering, we use content or service offerings from third parties on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in order to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter collectively referred to as “content”).

This always requires that the third-party providers of this content recognize the user's IP address, since without it, they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for displaying this content. We strive to only use content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for delivering the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as "web beacons") for statistical or marketing purposes.

Pixel tags allow us to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymized information may also be stored in cookies on the user's device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visit time, and other information about the use of our online offering, as well as be linked to such information from other sources.

Use of YouTube videos

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider “YouTube”, which belongs to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

This uses the extended data protection mode, which, according to the provider, only starts saving user information when the video(s) is played. If the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider "YouTube" uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to information from "YouTube", these serve, among other things, to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive behavior. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account when you click on a video. Regardless of whether the embedded videos are played, a connection to the Google network “DoubleClick” is established each time this website is accessed, which may trigger further data processing operations without our control.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
