Soulmate Essence S-Glass Fiberglass Blank 836 - 8’3ft 6wt 4pc CLOUDY

Soulmate Essence 836 S-Glass Fly Rod Blank – Powerful Glass for Streamers and Mousing

With the Soulmate Essence 836, we are expanding the Essence S-Glass series with a powerful 6wt blank – for all fly anglers who want to cast big flies with control when streamer fishing and mousing, without giving up the lively feel and dampening of glass.

With a length of 8’3” and a line class of #6, the Essence 836 is compact and easy to handle – ideal for small and medium-sized rivers, under overhanging vegetation and anywhere precise casts at short to medium distance are required. It also delivers large, bulky and wind-resistant flies such as mice, deer hair bugs and streamers cleanly and accurately to the target.

The balanced medium-fast glass action with a progressive taper loads comfortably even at short distance, offers direct feel for the line and cast, and has enough backbone for strong fish. Runs are absorbed smoothly – the hook stays firmly set.

Made from unidirectional S-glass, the blank impresses with its low weight, extreme sensitivity and very high recovery speed. The tip-over-ferrule connection ensures a harmonious bending curve. The cloudy finish emphasizes the classic glass look and makes the Essence 836 the ideal basis for a robust custom build.
