Soulmate Essence S-Glass Fiberglass Blank 866 - 8’6ft 6wt 4pc OLIVE GLOSSY UNGROUND

Soulmate Essence 866 S-Glass Fly Rod Blank – More Range and Power for Streamers and Mousing

With the Soulmate Essence 866, the 836 gets a big brother – a 6wt blank for all fly anglers looking for more range and power reserves when streamer fishing and mousing, without giving up the lively feel of glass.

With a length of 8’6” and a line class of #6, the additional 3 inches provide longer casts, better mending control and more leverage in the fight – ideal for larger rivers, lakes and anywhere large, bulky flies such as mice, deer hair bugs and streamers need to be presented and worked with control at distance.

The balanced medium-fast glass action with a progressive taper loads comfortably, keeps more line under control in the air and has a strong backbone for powerful fish. At the same time, the glass absorbs runs smoothly and transmits every movement of the fish during the fight.

Made from unidirectional S-glass, the blank impresses with its low weight, extreme sensitivity and very high recovery speed. The tip-over-ferrule connection ensures a harmonious bending curve. The unground olive glossy finish emphasizes the natural, high-quality look and makes the Essence 866 the ideal basis for a powerful custom build.
