Soulmate Essence UD S-Glass Fiberglass Blank 805 - 8ft 5wt 4pc TRANSLUCENT GREEN

Soulmate Essence UD 805 S-Glass Fly Rod Blank – The Versatile Glass Blank for Creeks and Small Rivers

With the Soulmate Essence UD 805 in translucent green, the popular 805 is now available in a new finish – a versatile 5wt blank for all fly anglers who want to cover dry flies, nymphs and small to medium-sized streamers with just one blank.

With a length of 8’0” and a line class of #5, the Essence 805 is still easy to handle on creeks while offering enough length for controlled mending, clean drifts and precise casts on small rivers. In addition to WF and DT lines, it also pairs very well with micro skagit shooting heads.

The balanced medium-fast glass action with a progressive taper loads comfortably even with little line, offers direct feel for the line and cast, and has enough backbone for small streamers and stronger fish. The blank is true to its line rating and also casts very well with half a line class below or above.

Made from unidirectional S-glass, the blank impresses with its low weight, extreme sensitivity and very high recovery speed. The tip-over-ferrule connection ensures a harmonious bending curve. The unsanded translucent green finish lets the structure of the glass shine through and makes the Essence 805 the ideal basis for an individual custom build.
