The Soulmate Elysium 803 is the finest interpretation of our Modern Classic idea.

At 8 feet and line class #3, it is aimed at fly fishers who prioritize presentation, feel, and immediate feedback.

The blank loads harmoniously with very little line. Especially on small and medium-sized streams, this creates that special feeling where rod, line, and cast virtually merge into one.

Dry flies can be placed extremely delicately, roll casts are intuitive, and even in tight spaces, the line can be controlled precisely.

Yet, the Elysium 803 is by no means a soft vintage rod. Its progressive carbon construction possesses significantly more stability and backbone than its classic look might initially suggest. When a longer cast is necessary or a good fish puts up a fight, there are ample reserves available.

Due to its very low weight, the 803 feels almost weightless in hand and conveys a lightness while fishing that perfectly matches its sensitive character.

The unground carbon surface combined with the cleanly ground spigot ferrules creates an ideal basis for particularly elegant custom builds in the Modern Classic Style.
